Especially towards the end, i didnt have any other option -- i had to use and/or drink... it was a matter of survival - of living through the day... I no longer had any control over this choice. It had me. ...but now - i have this choice every day. And if i dont want to (i desperately with such a passion hold a hatred for that previous life - so NO. i dont want to)...I dont have to. those chains no longer hold me.
Today, i choose to be bound by love, and not by substance or hatred.
